Make this original short film part of the Easter weekend experience at your church.

Making History

For the first time ever, see the Biblical Easter story in 3D.

The idea

How it all started.

Three churches came together in December 2010 and began brainstorming what it would be like to see the Cross & Resurrection of Jesus in 3D and how they could create an original short film.

Indiana based church, Family Christian Center, City Church Chicago in Illinois and Washington based church, Champions Centre, partnered together to produce HISTORY Easter 3D in order to create a relevant illustration of the Easter story that people from any generation will appreciate.

They told their church families to tell their friends and people in the community to come to their church to see a 3D movie.

It created quite a buzz and all three churches had record breaking attendance with a 40-60% increase from Easter 2010. Now, they want to make this opportunity available for other churches to experience.

The project began with story boarding ideas, script writing, and putting together a musical score. HISTORY Easter 3D has been scripted from the Genesis & Gospel accounts of the creation of the world and the fall of man, crucifixion of Jesus Christ and His resurrection.

Equipment, filming and editing

HISTORY Easter 3D was filmed on the iconic Red Camera, it is cutting edge technology for high-definition and polarized 3D quality. Most blockbuster films that you see on iMax are filmed with the Red Camera. It took three full days to shoot the what would become just under a 10 minute film. Actors and scene settings were filmed in front of a green screen to allow the cinematographers to go in and animate the objects into 3D fashion. Most actors, technicians and behind the scenes crew donated their time. The short film took 6 weeks to animate and edit using 3D enhancing technology and software.

Investment

The value of a short 3D film like this is well over $250,000. You have the opportunity to bring this original short film into your Easter weekend experience for a fraction of the cost. Chances are, many churches wouldn't be able to present this quality of film on their own. But now, you can be one of the limited churches to purchase a license for the HISTORY Easter 3D film.

The information provided is only a recomendation and not a requirement.

Note:

There were a couple of things that we had to trouble shoot: 1) being that the way the Blu-ray discs were formatted weren't working in the Blu-ray players we had rented. SO, we ended up falling back to the MacBook Pro which ended up working Beautifully. We played movie off of the laptop in a 720p format.
